The handle has a good weight to it. It will leave a nice red mark with very little effort and of course it, with a little more effort can make a lovely bruise. This is an attractive and effective toy. The bottom of the handle is rounded and smooth.

This is a handmade product, there will be some slight variations.
Experience Level: beginner to experienced
The handle is uncoated copper, some patina will occur. This can be easily removed with a copper cleaner or a light sanding.
